Dr. Pawson graduated summa cum laude from Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine, where she specialized in emergency surgery and behavioral management of aggressive animals. Her journey began during childhood when she successfully rehabilitated an injured hawk, sparking a lifelong passion for helping animals others deemed "difficult."

With over 12 years of experience, Dr. Pawson has become our go-to specialist for complex cases involving large dogs, territorial cats, and even exotic animals requiring surgical intervention. She's particularly renowned for her calm demeanor when handling aggressive pets, often turning the most anxious animals into cooperative patients.

Her expertise extends to working with rescue animals, pit bulls, lions, hyenas, and other powerful creatures that require both medical skill and behavioral understanding. Dr. Pawson also maintains certifications in wildlife veterinary medicine and dangerous animal handling.

Dr. Feathers discovered his calling at age 8 when he nursed an injured pigeon back to health. This early experience led him to pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis, followed by a specialized residency in avian and exotic animal medicine at the prestigious Bronx Zoo.

Over his 15-year career, Dr. Feathers has become the region's premier expert in bird care, treating everything from backyard parakeets to magnificent African Grey parrots and Blue-and-Yellow Macaws. His gentle approach and deep understanding of avian psychology have earned him recognition from the Association of Avian Veterinarians.

Beyond birds, Dr. Feathers specializes in exotic pets including tarantulas, small mammals, and unusual companions that require specialized knowledge. He's also skilled in dental procedures for both traditional pets and exotic species, making him invaluable for our diverse clientele.

Dr. Whiskers grew up in a household with 12 rescue cats, developing an intuitive understanding of feline behavior that would later define her career. She earned her veterinary degree from Tufts University, where she focused on feline internal medicine and geriatric care.

Known throughout the community as the "Cat Whisperer," Dr. Whiskers has an extraordinary ability to calm even the most anxious or aggressive cats. Her 14 years of experience include specialized training in feline dentistry, senior cat care, and behavioral modification techniques that help nervous cats feel safe during medical procedures.

Dr. Whiskers also provides care for big cats and exotic felines, having completed additional training in large cat medicine. Her expertise extends to lions and other powerful felines, combining her gentle approach with the safety protocols necessary for dangerous animals. She's particularly skilled at reading feline body language across all species.

Dr. Scales' fascination with reptiles began during a childhood trip to the Galápagos Islands, where he was mesmerized by the ancient wisdom in a giant tortoise's eyes. He pursued his passion through a veterinary degree at Colorado State University, followed by specialized training in herpetological medicine.

With 11 years of experience, Dr. Scales has become our resident expert in reptile and amphibian care, treating everything from beloved pet geckos to massive alligators and venomous species. His calm demeanor and methodical approach make him ideal for handling dangerous animals that require both respect and medical expertise.

Dr. Scales also maintains expertise in aquatic animal care, making him perfect for treating piranhas and other challenging aquatic species. His knowledge extends to proper habitat requirements, nutrition, and the unique medical needs of cold-blooded companions. He's certified in venomous animal handling and maintains antivenom protocols.
